Kit Miles is a textiles designer and today he came to our uni to give a lecture. his work is very big in like a grand way like it feel full and rich, although in some of his works he keeps the colour palette's quite simple. like most people who come to give lectures he talked about how important drawing is. i think it would be pretty impossible for anyone on this course to not know how important it is i swear i hear that word more then any other word apart from maybe scarf at the moment. he is still young but has achieved so much in his relatively short (so far) career. when he was talking it was quite astounding how fast things can happen and how one thing leads to completely another. he also talked about how important seeing is. like actually looking at things. i guess it sorta, makes things seem more realer. like at the moment we are student but soon we will not be students. i can't explain it, its really weird.
