since setting up my survey i have really been amazed, i have had 30 people fill it out and think its probably time to close it. i really need to buy another book to do some graphs in but it might take a while i'm not entirely sure if i remember how to do them. the same colours kept on being thrown up which were greens oranges and browns, and i think they are perfect colours for this scarf. the survey has helped me so much  it really helped me organise my own thoughts. when i was thinking about the colours i could only keep thinking about shaggy from scooby doo! he is like my colour story for the scarf.

today we also had another crit. seeing the amount of work other people have been doing is truly amazing i haven't done nearly enough but to be honest i don't think i could have gone any faster and if i had the work wouldn't be at the same standard as their work is or the standard that my work currently is. The tutor we had today was really helpful, she knew who the puppet man was and i feel a lot more certain that he is recognisable and people will know who it is meant to be. she also told me about this lady who lives in the cathedral and i think that having two scarves would look really good like to go together rather than just one. the only trouble i am having with this project is that i don't want this to be about mocking, its meant to be a celebration of eccentrics, which i think i can achieve. next week i definitely need to get into the print room and start some sampling, so this weekend i am going to just spend the whole time drawing.
